Paula Carr - Msc TA Psychotherapy; CTA; PG Dip. in TA Psychotherapy
I have worked for a number of years in private practice, at a national mental health charity, and for a local hospice providing Psychotherapy and Counselling for individuals with a broad range of presentations.
I practice Transactional Analysis, an integrative approach in the humanistic tradition. Each client will have their own personal treatment plan which provides a structured and focused way to address their thought processes to help understand inner conflicts and find new ways to alleviate and deal with distress. I have a particular interest in 'Relational' therapy; a way of exploring difficult, repetitive inter-personal experiences and options for change.
I am experienced in helping clients who have experienced difficulties with :
- Stress
- Relationships
- Panic Attacks
- Anxiety
- Bereavement
- Redundancy
- Depression, and
- Addiction.
